Terms of Use and End-User License Agreement (EULA) — Pigles
Effective date: 14.10.2026
1. Provider identification (Art. 10 LSSI-CE)
This application and related services are provided by Mikhail Lobov, a self-employed individual (Spanish autónomo, natural person), trading under the brand name "Pigl.ES" (the "Developer", "we").
- Postal and fiscal address: Pigl.ES, Calle Princesa 31, planta 2, puerta 2, 28008 Madrid, Spain.
- Email: support@pigl.es.
Full identification details also appear in the Legal Notice (Aviso Legal) at pigl.es.
2. Acceptance and scope
The "Pigles" app (package es.pigl.app, the "App") is a cross-platform (Android, iOS, desktop) end-to-end-encrypted (E2EE) personal-finance tracker. By installing, accessing or using the App, or by purchasing a subscription, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms govern both use of the App and the subscriptions.
3. License
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not: resell, rent or distribute the App; reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except as expressly permitted by law; remove proprietary notices; or use the App unlawfully.
4. The App is a manual tracker (no financial advice)
4.1. Pigles is solely for manual expense and personal-finance tracking. The App does not connect to banks, is not an investment, brokerage, lending service or a crypto wallet/exchange, and does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal advice. Any data, reports or exchange rates are for information only. You are solely responsible for the data you enter and for the decisions you make.
4.2. Optional AI chat. At your choice, the App can connect to a third-party artificial-intelligence service (an "AI provider") using an API key that you obtain and pay for yourself. The answers in the AI chat are generated by that provider's model, not by the Developer; they are provided for information only, may be incomplete or wrong, and do not constitute financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal advice from the Developer. The Developer does not control the provider, is not a party to your agreement with it, and is not responsible for its service, availability, fees or its handling of your data. Your use of an AI provider is subject to that provider's terms. Data is sent to the provider only with your explicit permission, as described in the Privacy Policy (Section 10).
5. Subscriptions (Pigles Premium)
5.1. Paid subscriptions are sold exclusively via in-app purchase on the Apple App Store and Google Play, within the "Pigles Premium" subscription group:
pigles_premium_monthly: 2.99 EUR/USD per month;pigles_premium_yearly: 29.99 EUR/USD per year.
Prices may vary by region and store; the current price is always shown in the App/store before purchase.
5.2. What the subscription provides: the primary value is cloud synchronization of your data across your own devices (end-to-end encrypted); secondarily, access to historical cryptocurrency exchange-rate data for reporting; and thirdly, the ability to connect the optional AI chat (Section 4.2), which additionally requires your own API key from a third-party AI provider. Further features may be added in the future.
5.3. There is no free trial.
5.4. Auto-renewal: the subscription renews automatically at the same price and period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You are charged within the 24 hours before the new period begins.
5.5. Management and cancellation: you can manage and cancel the subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the App does not by itself cancel the subscription.
5.6. Payments: all payments are processed by Apple or Google. The Developer never receives your card or payment details.
5.7. Free features remain free.
6. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
6.1. The subscription is a digital service (cloud sync and data access) within the meaning of the TRLGDCU (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, as amended by RDL 7/2021 and RDL 24/2021). As an EU-resident consumer, you have a 14-calendar-day right of withdrawal from conclusion of the contract, without giving reasons (Art. 102 TRLGDCU).
6.2. By subscribing, you expressly request that performance of the service (cloud sync) begin immediately, within the withdrawal period (Art. 98.8 TRLGDCU), and you acknowledge that, if you withdraw after performance has begun, you must pay an amount proportional to the service already supplied at the time you communicate the withdrawal (Art. 108.4 TRLGDCU).
6.3. To withdraw, send an unequivocal statement to support@pigl.es before the deadline. You may use the statutory model withdrawal form, but this is not required.
6.4. Store refunds. Independently of the above, Apple and Google apply their own refund policies (e.g., Apple's 14-day EU cooling-off period; Google Play's 14-day EEA withdrawal right for digital services with full refund). Because payment is processed by the store, actual refunds are governed by the relevant store's policy and are usually requested directly from Apple or Google.
7. Intellectual property
The App, its code, design, trademarks and all content (except your own data) belong to the Developer or its licensors and are protected by law. No rights are assigned to you other than the license expressly granted.
8. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability
8.1. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available". This does not affect the mandatory statutory guarantee of conformity granted to consumers under the TRLGDCU.
8.2. We do not limit or exclude our liability where the law prohibits it, in particular for death or personal injury caused by our acts, for willful misconduct or gross negligence, or in respect of consumers' mandatory rights. No clause of these Terms deprives the consumer of rights granted by mandatory or default rules (Art. 86 TRLGDCU); any clause to the contrary is null and void.
9. Data and privacy
Processing of personal data is fully described in the Privacy Policy: https://pigl.es/privacypolicy, which forms an integral part of the relationship between you and the Developer. The App uses end-to-end encryption (E2EE): your keys and recovery codes are held by you. You are responsible for safeguarding your keys/recovery codes and backups; if you lose them, we cannot recover your data. If you enable the optional AI chat, the App sends your questions and the data needed to answer them directly from your device to the AI provider you chose; the Developer's servers are not involved (Privacy Policy, Section 10).
10. Term and termination
These Terms apply while you use the App. You may terminate them by uninstalling the App and cancelling the subscription. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach the Terms or the law. Termination does not affect accrued rights or subscription periods already paid.
11. Changes to the Terms
We may amend these Terms for objective reasons (changes in law, features or store requirements). The current version is always published at https://pigl.es/terms/ with its date. We will notify material changes in the App or by email. Continued use after they take effect means acceptance; for consumers, material changes will not apply to the current paid period.
12. Governing law and dispute resolution
12.1. These Terms are governed by Spanish law. However, if you are a consumer residing in another EU/EEA country, you also enjoy the protection of the mandatory provisions of your country of habitual residence (Art. 6 of Regulation (EU) 593/2008, "Rome I"); this choice of law does not deprive you of that protection.
12.2. The EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 under Regulation (EU) 2024/3228 of 19 December 2024, which repealed Regulation (EU) No 524/2013. For out-of-court resolution, you may contact us at support@pigl.es and the competent consumer authorities or alternative dispute resolution bodies in your place of residence.
13. Mandatory terms for Apple App Store apps
This section applies only if you obtained the App from the Apple App Store and prevails for the iOS version in case of conflict. "Apple" means Apple Inc.
- Acknowledgement. This EULA is between you and the Developer only, not Apple. The Developer, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content. This EULA does not provide usage rules that conflict with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
- Scope of license. The license is limited to a non-transferable license to use the App on any Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules of the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except access via Family Sharing.
- Maintenance and support. The Developer is solely responsible for maintenance and support. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services.
- Warranty. The Developer is responsible for product warranties to the extent not effectively disclaimed. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the App's purchase price to you (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation, and any other claims are the Developer's responsibility.
- Product claims. The Developer, not Apple, is responsible for claims by you or third parties relating to the App, including product liability, failure to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims under consumer-protection and privacy law.
- Intellectual property rights. If a third party claims the App infringes its intellectual property rights, the Developer, not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of such claim.
- Legal compliance. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as "terrorist supporting", and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Developer name and contact. Direct any questions, complaints or claims about the App to: Mikhail Lobov (Pigl.ES), Calle Princesa 31, planta 2, puerta 2, 28008 Madrid, Spain; support@pigl.es.
- Third-party terms. When using the App, you must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement.
- Third-party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and have the right to enforce it against you.
